Fans speculated at the Nintendo Direct Livestream that they would find out who the last remaining character from the “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate” roster was. Instead, we learned that Chris Pratt would be playing Mario in a feature film.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – Sora Is The Last Character
Today, however, Nintendo’s last “Mr. Sakurai Presents” game stream, Masahiro Sakurai, the game director, revealed that Sora from “Kingdom Hearts”, the last fighter added to “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate,” will be the final fighter. The first “Kingdom Hearts”, 2002 games, featured characters from both Disney and Pixar. Sora, the main character of the franchise, is armed with a keyblade. However, he also has a small chain that has a Mickey Mouse logo attached to it. Although Sora is a favorite video game character, some may find it odd to see a Mickey Mouse-shaped character alongside Mario and Pikachu. This is the 82nd playable character added to the beloved title. It was released for Nintendo Switch in December 2018. Fans of “Doom” can pretend to be “Doom Slayer”, by wearing a new Mii costume. Other Mii outfits are available for characters from “Splatoon.”
Sakurai stated in the Livestream, “Super Smash Bros” for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U published a ballot asking fans for their votes for new characters in Smash six years ago. Sora was the most requested fighter at the time. According to the game director, Sora is a more accessible character that beginners can play, and this makes it suitable for them.
Download the Fighters Pass Vol. Vol. to use Sora. It is available from October 18th. The Fighters Pass Vol. 2 expansion costs $29.99. However, individual expansion characters can be added to the game for $5.99. This expansion pack also includes Steve/Alex from “Minecraft”, Sephiroth of “Final Fantasy 7”, Pyra/Mythra, Kazuya Mishima from “Tekken,” Min Min from the “Arms” and Pyra/Mythra.

Sakurai revealed that the Nintendo Switch will soon have remastered versions for “Kingdom Hearts” originally released on other consoles. These games include “Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+ 2.5 ReMix,” “Kingdom Hearts HD I.8 Final Chapter Prologue” and “Kingdom Hearts III.” No release date has been set.
